AZ NICA’s first annual Coach Camp is being held at Dead Horse Ranch in Cottonwood, Friday November 10th- Sunday, November 12th at 11am. We have an action packed weekend planned that you will not want to miss, here is the info:
Coach Camp Cost: $35 per registered NICA coach
What does that include:
– Friday evening gathering and campfire conversations
– Full day of training on Saturday, group ride and campfire conversations
– Three meals on Saturday (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
– Coach Swag Bag
– Sunday morning optional group ride
The weekend will kick off on Friday evening at 7 pm as we gather at the group camping ramada, bring your own meal (grills available) and we will kick off our campfire conversations at 8 pm.
Saturday is a full day of learning, riding and fun with our fellow coaches as we get ready for our 2024 season.
We have 4 tracts that include:
1. AZ NICA’s Three C’s- Core Values, Culture and Community
Reinvigorate your NICA core values in this inspiring session and learn how to use those values to bring a fresh vibe to your team culture and AZ NICA community.
2. So I’m a registered coach in the Pit Zone, now what?
Whether you are a seasoned team director/head coach or a brand new level 1 coach we will discuss new ways to strengthen your coaching skills and engage your coaching crew.
3. Race Day Rundown
Setting your team up for success on race day, learn more about AZ NICA’s race day structure and why it looks different.
4. More than just racing
How can we work together as a league to get more kids and families on bikes….for life? Let’s chat about ways to provide our student athletes more opportunities to get involved in a variety of ways to ensure there is a place for everyone within the league.
Sunday morning we will wrap the weekend up with an optional group ride in the morning and then send everyone on their way with many new tools and strategies to add to your coaching tool box.
